The 11th Annual has past and it was our biggest and best yet. Thank you all so much!!!! The support we got this year far surpassed anything we have had in the past. So many people helped make this happen, our Warriors, the ride stop hosts, the Friday and Saturday support staff and most of all you riders who came and kicked the routes collective butts.
Thanks to Jessie Healey for producing this very cool banner advertisement for the ride.
Meet Allen Gerhardt, Here he is coming off of the TT Course at the USA Cycling National Championships in Knoxville, TN. He raced against world and national champions on a Time Trial Course and a Road Course the next day. Congrats my friend. You will continue to grow in your racing career and we will be beside you all of the way. UPDATE: November 2 Allen competed in the Rock-n-Roll Marathon Savannah and was the fastest Handcycle finisher. His final time was 1:51. He qualified for the Boston Marathon and will be attending. Also finishing the marathon was another Warrior, Paul Belk. Congratulations gentlemen, you are true Warriors.

HTW 2017 Ride Video
Lunch time, CPCC Main Campus 2019.
HTW is a veterans group providing camaraderie and giving veterans a sense of purpose toward shared goals that they can not get elsewhere. HTW believes strongly that no team is better equipped to take on any challenge than service members. We bring veterans together and our goal-oriented program provides the structure needed to achieve success on a regular basis.
For our riders, conquering a hill or passing a mile marker is more than just a singular achievement- it's recognition that all you worked for is still within your grasp.
Disabilities and differences shouldn't stop you - and the power of that message is why our country has always been great. Ride with us or sponsor one of our riders for an event. We succeed because of your support.
OUR MISSION To encourage each and every person to live their lives with joy. To define themselves not by what they can't do but by what they will do. To guide and mentor all we meet by encouraging and helping them to reach beyond their expectations.
PAST EVENT
I am as close to speechless as I have ever been. This last 2 weeks has been fantastic for Honor the Warriors. Our 10th annual ride was the most successful ever, and I can not begin to thank our friends, our families, our supporters and especially every rider who came and supported us. The total number of riders was over 120 plus our Warriors. The weather was perfect and the food was exceptional. Our gift to all of you are the pictures taken by Sergey and Frank. These two gentlemen were all over and seemed to have taken pictures of everything. The links below will get you to the pics which can be downloaded at no charge. They have been divided into categories as noted on the sites. There are a ton of pics and probably at least 1 of everyone. The second link has a password of, "Honor" Please feel free to download pictures to use for your own use. Any commercial use must be cleared with the photographers themselves.
2. Frank: https://stillcreations.smugmug.com/Client-area/October-Ride psd; "Honor" UPDATE: Several people have asked if they could make a donation towards next years photographers. The answer is yes absolutely but you are not obligated to do so. If you make a donation use the "Donate" button above and please mark in the donation that it is for photography so we can put it in the correct account. Thanks to all, see you again next year if not before.
