Durham VA Summer Cycling Clinic, Horseshoe Farms Park, Falls of the Neuse River Trail

Durham VA Cycling Clinic:
Honor the Warriors partnered with the Durham Veterans Administration, Adaptive Sports Program to provide a cycling clinic to veterans from the local area.  It was a scorching two days but miles were ridden and good times were had by all.  The first day we took some time to fit trikes and bikes to attendees and rolled on down the trail.  The learning curve was not too steep and I think everyone enjoyed themselves.  
​Day 2 of the clinic was for experienced cyclists so we stepped it up a bit.  More miles, more sweat and a bit of a helping hand up the trail and everyone made the round trip.  We even encountered a few deer that seemed to have no concern we were even there.
